Hospital in Cyprus Eliminates Wireless Routers In Pediatric Units to Reduce Radiation Exposures
Updated: Jul 3
In June of 2019, the Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in Cyprus launched a project to minimize wireless radiation exposure in its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Neonatal Unit to protect developing babies and children from harmful EMFs.
The campaign requires that wireless routers be disabled and replaced with ethernet connections in these specified hospital units. Parents of young patients are also encouraged to keep cell phones way from their children.
